Once again Bill Malchisky is arranging a special ski event for the IBM Collaboration community. Think to Ski 2018 will take place March 23-25 in Salt Lake City, the weekend following IBM Think 2018 in Las Vegas. Why not follow up the conference with a quick breather, carve some turns and enjoy gliding on The Greatest Snow on Earth®? This is also an opportunity for great business networking in an intimate setting.
There are several ways to get to Salt Lake City.
One option is to take an inexpensive one hour flight from Las Vegas. Three airlines offer direct flights. Another option is to ride on the official Think To Ski Beer Bus, a rented motor coach where you will enjoy spectacular scenery and the company of friends, all while you keep yourself sufficiently hydrated with a choice of tasty beverages. You may of course also bring your own favorite.
In Salt Lake City, we're working with Hampton Inn Salt Lake City/Sandy on a courtesy room block offering a special rate. Close proximity to ski slopes. We're arranging transportation to dinner and the slopes, with airport options for departure. Need equipment rentals? The local ski shop will deliver to the hotel Friday night. More details shortly. We are including easy registration links for the beer bus, lodging, and ski equipment below.
You can ski Saturday only, or longer if you want. Take this opportunity to spend a couple of days in the beautiful Rocky Mountains! But what if you are not interested in downhill skiing? Don't worry, Salt Lake City offer something for everyone. You can try cross-country skiing or rent a snowmobile. Or just relax at the hotel and meet everyone in the evening for dinner and drinks. The choice is yours!
There also will be a dinner Friday night, March 23. Details to be anounced.
